How the renewal of the earth fits into God's plan for the world

From the creation of the heavens and the earth to the New Jerusalem, the story of Scripture reveals God's commitment to the physical world he created. Our final destiny is not a disembodied heavenly existence, but life with God on a renewed earth. How does this vision of our future home affect our current lives? What role should Christians assume in caring for physical needs? Are spiritual realities more important than physical ones?

This book will help us understand God's eternal vision for the renewal of this earth and discover the purpose of all our daily activities in the real world, such as work, the arts, social justice, ecology, medicine, and much more. .

Recomendaciones

“Combining pastoral, missional, and academic ideas, Ian Smith beautifully explores the little-understood connection between the resurrection that all Christians affirm and the new creation that all believers will enjoy.”
—Bryan Chapell, pastor; author of Grace Without Limits

“Over and over again I found myself discovering new depth and hope that I had not seen before in well-known passages… It will change the way you live in the current creation by being grateful and enjoying this world but also longing for the glory to come.”
