Una dieta completa: ¡todo el consejo de Dios!

A complete diet - all the advice of God!

We were called to preach the whole counsel of God and not selective portions of the Word.

In our day it is very common to hear a preacher go from one portion of the Word to another portion of the Word and then to another portion of the Word, always looking for those passages that bless the congregation, but intentionally avoiding those passages that They confront sin in the heart of the congregation itself.

We do not help Christ's disciples to grow and mature in His image when we never confront them with those passages revealed by God precisely to cleanse the minds and hearts of those for whom His Son died.

Preacher, I invite you to pay attention to the words of the apostle Paul when he spoke to the elders of the church of Ephesus in Miletus and told them: “Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all, for I did not shy away from declaring to you the whole purpose of God” (Acts 20:26-27). Notice how the apostle Paul felt completely innocent in not having avoided any difficult passages in God's Word.

Preacher, pay attention to His revelation. In it lies the power to transform your congregation. In it is the transforming power of the God to whom we all belong. Preach, but preach the whole counsel of God.
